Our founder and director, Marisca De Bruyn, commenced her career in accounting at just 19 years old. Her first post at an auditing firm cemented her foray into the industry while she furthered her studies.

Marisca was drawn to taxation from the get-go. Intrigued by the nuances and intelligence of the field, she qualified as a tax professional and is designated as a tax advisor through the South African Institution of Taxation (SAIT). Marisca is currently working towards an ADIT international tax accreditation with the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK) through The Tax Faculty.

Marisca is regularly sought out for her expert opinion on tax planning, tax liability reduction and tax migration. Both high networth individuals and industry affiliates seek her out for guidance on intricate financial scenarios with multiple tax consequences. Written opinions and tax advice can be provided to ensure proper tax planning is done prior to making big decisions.

She is a frequent speaker to local and international wealth management and financial planning organisations.
